Chronicles of Tommy
It’s funny.. even after I put him in his place a month ago, he’s still finding ways of screwing around with me. Example?
I need records of all my hours taught, to make sure they’re paying me what they’re contractually obligated to pay me, so I asked Tommy to get them ready for me ASAP. Tommy delegates this to Vivian. She in turn tells me to contact Lily, my teacher liason, to request the hours submitted from her. I talk to Lily, who in turn talks to Tommy telling him they already have these records. Tommy tells Lily to tell me to come to Tommy/Vivian’s office any time today to pick them up.
Now, I go to Tommy/Vivian’s office, and Tommy immediately has a smug look on his face. Vivian is nowhere to be seen, and I ask him for my records. He gives me some bullshit about Vivian not being in the office at all today, and that Lily hung up before getting all of the information to relay to me. Tommy said he told her Vivian was NOT going to be in the office at all. Bullshit Tommy. You’re a goddamn liar. You just want to exert what little power you have, and play your little games so you can feel good about yourself. I have you figured out, but there’s not much I can do to avoid your plays. It sucks, but that’s life right now.
It will be a great day once everything is completely squared away, and I have no reason at all to ever contact him again.
I think I automatically hate anyone named Tommy now. Hmm.
