When The Heart Shines Through

Funny Story: I bought a Chinese bootleg of The Hurt Locker from an old man on a street corner in Chengdu near my hostel back in June 2009. Usually Chinese bootlegs are cams or telesyncs, but this was as far as I can tell, copied from a legit dvd. Which led me to think, how in the hell did this guy get copies of a film that was only shown at the Venice and Toronto film festivals in 2008, then effectively shelved until a limited theatre run in the US in July, 2009?
Oh China. View Larger
